This training gives you the skills to build an effective culture of safety within your organization. CPI
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training is a safe, non-harmful behavior management system
designed to help professionals in any setting provide the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety, and
Security of individuals presenting a range of crisis behaviors.

The focus of this program is to build the knowledge and skills you need to recognize and manage
crisis behaviors you may encounter in your workplace. As you manage these behaviors, you will
begin to establish a philosophy and a culture of safety for your organization.

In CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training, you will be involved in practicing intervention
strategies. You should understand that some of these methods may involve physical contact. It is
important to follow the instructor''s directions and the program''s Safe Participation Guidelines.

Important Session Information:


Please ensure your email is up-to-date on your account. Registered participants will receive an email from CPI with instructions on how access the online learning unit which will take approximately two hours to complete. The online unit must be completed before attending the in-person portion of the course. Participants will print the certificate of completion of the online unit and present to the instructor for admittance to the in-person class time.
